Primary and Secondary Tasks
Our Primary task is to Serve and Support the needs of our community.
We do this in several ways, providing practical help, organising social occasions, helping other charities with the organisation of their activities and of course our own fund raising events.
Our Secondary task is to support some National and International projects.
Typical examples are;
- The message in a bottle scheme.
- Certain Youth Programmes such as National Junior Athletics Championships and Music Competition.
- Eye health programme, the aim of which is to eliminate preventable and reversable blindness worldwide. (It was the Lions who introduced the white walking stick)
