Collections and Ted Stalls
From time to time the club makes collections in various locations including The Meadows and the Town Centre. More often than not the Ted Stalls are used for fundraising. Tickets are sold at 25pence each, two 3's, 6's or 9's at the end of any number is a winning ticket. To win a giant Teddy Bear three 9's are required, to win a medium sized bear three 6's are required and to win a small sized bear three 3's are required.
The stall has recently been redesigned to look more in keeping with the Main Square environment. We generally appear in the Main Square at least two Saturdays during the lead-up to Christmas and the funds raised during this period are used to finance local Lions charities.
