Annual 5 or 10 mile 50/50 Sponsored Walk
We, the Frimley and Camberley Lions have once again organised this very popular annual event which takes place every year along the banks of the Basingstoke Canal.
For those who have not participated before, we offer it to you as a very pleasant and easy way to raise funds for your favourite charity. This 50/50 sponsored walk provides a great opportunity to nominate your chosen charity or organisation to receive 50% of the money you raise, while at the same time supporting the charitable work of the Frimley and Camberley Lions.
Over the past 15 years many charities have benefited from the efforts of those taking part. It would please us very much if you would join us as a group or individually. If you have difficulties in securing sponsorship we would still like you to participate with a donation (suggested £10 minimum per adult) which would go to Lions charities and entitle you to also enjoy one of our famous bacon sandwiches.
We are busy organising this event for 2012.
